I like walking along the canal near my flat after work. It's only about twenty minutes. First I go past the corner shop and a little café, and then I make my way down some steps to the water. There are lots of colourful boats, and people live on some of them. Sometimes there's a man playing guitar on his boat. I see ducks, joggers and people walking their dogs. It's quiet, even though it's London. It really clears my mind.

After work I love a walk along the canal near my flat. It's only twenty minutes, but it's my favourite part of the day. I set off past the corner shop, cut through by the little café and go down some steps to the water. Colourful boats line the canal, some with people living on them, smoke curling from tiny chimneys, and sometimes a man sits on his roof playing guitar. Ducks, joggers, people walking their dogs. It feels a world away from the rest of London. I walk slowly and just take it all in.
